A friend in need is a friend indeed. Those who care about us would stand by us in troubled times.

When you are in a hospital because of some ailment or an accident, then some people outside your family and close circle of friends may visit you as well. You can write a thank you note to such persons for coming to visit you at the hospital.

A written thank you note may not be appropriate for family members and close circle of friends as they may feel distanced if you do that, you should make phone calls to them and convey your gratitude personally.
