Letter to Landlord to Use Security Deposit as Last Month's Rent

The relationship between the landlords and the tenants is often strained because of several reasons, mostly because of misunderstandings between the parties. The carelessness of the tenants and the unkind strict nature of the landlords are some of the main reasons among many.

Therefore, it is better to keep things in writing i.e. the correspondences. If possible, the voice conversations may be recorded too. Such evidence will come into use in case any conflicts arise.

Although the condition on the adjustment of last month's rent towards security deposit is mostly not provided in the rental agreement, yet the tenant can request the landlord for this.
