Sample Letter to Teacher from Parents about Child Homework

Too much homework from school can put extraordinary pressure on some of the students, who are unable to handle such pressure. This may cause headache, stress, and depression in such students, which may lead to further physical ailments.

Parents should take cognizance of this situation and should take appropriate action to protect the health of their child.

Students requesting the teachers directly to give them less homework may go ignored. Hence, the parents will have to request the teachers in writing to assign less homework to the students, if the parents are strongly of the opinion that it will be beneficial for their child to improve his mental health.

Lately, we have been noticing that (First Name of the Student) has been quite stressful because of his/her homework given by the teachers. We have tried to give him/her full support to help him/her in reducing this stress. However, it does not seem to be working that well for him/her.
