Request Letter format to Bank Manager for NEFT RTGS Transfer

RTGS stands for Real Time Gross Settlement.

NEFT stands for National Electronic Fund Transfer.

These are the systems of electronic funds transfer. They are maintained and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

In order to promote online banking, this setup was introduced in 2005 in India. The system was established and maintained by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT).

In simple words, you can use NEFT or RTGS by logging into your bank accounts online and transferring funds from your bank account to any other bank account.

Here are samples of letters to the banks requesting for NEFT / RTGS transactions.
