The places where wedding ceremonies are being conducted during the COVID-19 lockdown are high-risk places. The transmission of the coronavirus can happen very fast in such places. This is simply because the number of people gathered at one place will be more. People will be merrymaking and will be avoiding social distancing norms probably.

Hence, the government has made strict rules to combat the risk. Prior permission has to be obtained from local police and collectors before the marriage ceremony is conducted. Social distancing regulations have to be obeyed. People should wear masks, use sanitizers and keep their distance from each other.
