Draft Application to Electricity Board for New Meter Connection

In order to obtain an electricity connection, you have to make an application to the electricity board or company who is providing electricity services in your locality.

The application should be made in the form prescribed by the electricity board. Please visit their office and obtain such forms. You need to also provide other supporting documents as may be asked for. You may have to make the payment of the fees at the time of application. Some companies allow payment after installation.

Respected Sir/Madam,

With due respect, I would like to submit an application for obtaining a new electricity connection at my place. I have recently built a new house at (Full Address). The construction work is almost completed. The electric wiring along with other electric accessories works are also done in the building. The Griha Pravesh ceremony will soon be held. Hence, it is essential to obtain the electricity connection as soon as possible. I am making the application to obtain the electricity connection in my name, as I am the owner of the said place.
