Letter to Bank for Transfer of Account to Another Branch Format

When a person shifts his residence to another place, he needs to update his address in the records of some official documents and accounts. One of such requirements is change of address in bank accounts.

While changing address a person may also request to the bank for transfer of account to another branch office. This is generally done for ease of operating the account from the nearest branch office.

The account-holder can visit the old branch office of the bank and submit his application form in the printed format given by the bank. Otherwise, he can prepare a letter himself and submit it to the bank.
