Sample Letter to Bank Manager informing Death of Pensioner

After the death of the pensioner, his immediate family member should intimate the news of the death to the bank through which he was drawing pension. The family member can also request the bank to stop the payment of pension.

If eligible, the family member can also lodge his request for the payment of family pension to him because of the death of the pensioner.

Therefore, you are requested to kindly stop the payment of his/her pension with effect from (Date).
