Sample Letter to Society for Permission for Internet Connection

The tenant/owner of a flat needs to obtain the permission of the society committee before installing internet connection in the flat.

Such permissions are not needed in all societies. Only some of the societies have such rules. Hence, you should enquire with the society committee to know whether any permission is required or not for this purpose.

I have already made an application to a broadband service provider for obtaining a new broadband connection. They are willing to provide the connection. They will be able to install it within the next ___ days. They are asking for a permission letter from the society in this regard.

When I contacted a broadband service provider i.e. (Name), they informed me that in order to provide me with a new connection - first they would have to install a setup box and a Wi-Fi antenna at the terrace of the building. The internet cables from outside will be connected to the said setup box and given to the flat for Wi-Fi router.

Therefore, I request you to kindly give necessary permission for the aforesaid purpose. It will not only be helpful to me but also other residents of the building will be able to get new internet connections from the said broadband service provider.
