Letter to Principal for Fee Concession due to Father's Death

A student can make an application to the head of the educational institute seeking either waiver of or concession in the fees on genuine grounds.

In case one or both of the parents passes away, and there are extreme financial problems whereby paying the fees becomes too difficult, then the student can certainly put forth an application for fee concession.

Here is a sample application to the principal requesting for a fee concession because of the death of father. The death certificate copy can be attached to it.

He was the sole income earner in our household. There is not much savings left for us. We are now facing severe financial problems. My mother is trying her best to manage it.

I am very much interested in continuing my education. We do not have enough money to pay the school fees. I have two siblings whose upbringing and education are also at stake at this critical juncture.

Therefore, I am kindly requesting you to waive off or give me a fee concession to the maximum extent possible on the school fees for the semesters during the academic year _____. I will be forever grateful to you.
