Authority Letter to Collect Demand Draft (DD) from Bank Sample

If you need Demand Drafts (DDs) for some purposes, but you are unable to go to the bank to collect the DDs, then you can authorize someone to collect it on your behalf.

Please check with your bank first for the format. Here are some formats for your reference. Fill in necessary details and submit it at the bank.

(3) INR _______ (Rupees __________ only ) in favour of ‘(Name of the Party)’ payable at _________.

We authorize you to debit our above-mentioned current account towards the total amount of money for issuance of the said DDs.

We further authorize you to debit the said current account for the service charges/ tax, as may be applicable, for this service.

Further, we authorize the following official, whose name and signature are appended below, to collect the above-mentioned Demand Drafts on behalf of the company from your branch.
